Planning tips

Getting the most out of a tasting day

Reserve tastings ahead

Many tasting rooms ask larger groups to book. Reserve your stops before you book the vehicle, then send us the list.

Plan three or four stops

Allow 45 minutes to an hour per tasting room plus a lunch stop. More stops means more time in the vehicle, not more tasting.

Stay in one district

The Hollywood and Warehouse districts keep stops close together, so the hours go to tasting rather than driving.

Book weekdays for value

Weekend rates may apply, and Saturday tasting rooms are busiest. A weekday tour is quieter and most likely to price at the starting-from rate.

Every tour includes

  • A background-checked chauffeur who stays with the group all day
  • Your route, stops and pace for the hours booked
  • Pickups and drop-offs at more than one address within the booking
  • A vehicle cleaned and inspected before pickup
  • A written quote before you book

Not included

  • Tasting fees, paid directly to each winery or brewery
  • Tasting room reservations, which the group makes
  • Gratuity, which is not included in hourly rates
  • Stretch limousines, SUV stretches and the party bus carry a 4 to 6 hour minimum
